Barbara O. Davis paints visual poetry.
Using her skills as an abstract painter, she incorporates movement and color plus line in the form of the script of a chosen poem to convey her emotional response to that poem.
Barbara taught art for many years in the Miami-Dade School system and has illustrated several children’s books.
Barbara has a BFA degree from Carnegie Mellon University. She has received additional training at Miami-Dade College, Florida International University and the University of Miami.
